Statement:

The Uniformed Fire Alarm Dispatchers Benevolent Association (UFADBA) is the collective bargaining unit for the FDNY’s Fire Alarm Dispatchers. The nearly 600,000 incidents FDNY respond to each year are received, processed, and dispatched by members of this 200-person labor organization. This is done faster and more effectively than any other fire department agency in the United States. As one can expect, receiving and processing such a high volume of incidents daily is without a doubt extremely stressful. In addition to the added stress of performing their daily sworn duties, members must face the normal stresses of life.

The UFADBA Education & Assistance Fund was established to alleviate some of this stress. The fund provides scholarships to children of members as well as provides support to members affected by any catastrophic emergency.

All proceeds benefit the Uniformed Fire Alarm Dispatchers Benevolent Association Education and Assistance Fund, Inc. a not-for-profit 501(c)3 organization.
